Southern Cross Stakes Day @ Rosehill
TRACK: GOOD4 - RAIL: +3m
The Autumn Carnival is coming soon, and Rosehill will host a competitive event featuring young talent.
The rail is 3m out all around, and the Soft 5 track should offer a fair surface for all racing styles.
On Saturday, February 1st, 2025, Rosehill in New South Wales will have 10 races with a total prize pool of $1.8M.
The main race is the $250k Schweppes Southern Cross Stakes, which covers 1,200 meters.

Both runs this track excellent, looks well placed here and run 2 starts back at Randwick is good enough to clearly win this, race shape suits…

Did enough last start, some of her better numbers are good and at the price she looks a decent each way play.

Good in the Magic Millions, draws well and gets blinkers 1st time, will take catching in this.

Soft winner resuming at Rosehill, a winner 2nd up and gets Jmac, looks better than these

Strong winner in BM88 grade last start and stable absolutely airborne and well in with claim in this much weaker company. Stick hard.

Another from the Baker yard. Good on the Gold Coast and maps to get all the favours here, doesn't win out of turn but gets itt's chance here…

In devastating form and jump up to G3 Level won't stop him, ridden cold and blows them away again. Just load the cannons!

Big effort last start with 60kg's, drops 4.5kg's here, draws and maps well, has disneck form and thats good enough to load up at $4.

Taking on the shorty here in a big field. Nice weight swing and looked impressive last start - with a bit of luck!
Caulfield Members Day @ Sandown
TRACK: GOOD 4- RAIL: +9m
Saturday racing in Victoria takes place at Sandown's Lakeside circuit with 10 races for punters - this was scheduled for Caulfield, but with the recent fires and damages, it has been moved to Sandown Lakeside track.
The Group 3 Geoffrey Bellmaine Stakes (1200m) and Group 3 Chairman’s Stakes (1000m) will be important for upcoming Group 1 events, and the undercard features strong horses.
The weather is expected to be perfect, and with a Good 4 track and the rail out 6m, top runners should perform well.
The first race starts at 12:15pm AEDT.

Won last 2 in great style, leads and controls, gets Kah, Evens looks money for jam.

Good second up at Mornington, ready to peak and great record at this trip, is up in grade but does drop 4.5kg's

Not a lot went right at Flemington in stronger grade, well weighted here and did win previous 3 in good style, 8/1 we are tipping a bounce back

Big wraps, well bred in the right stable for a 2yr old, looked very sharp in recent trial

Bolted in last start at Ballarat, draws perfectly and well in with 3kg claim, perfectly placed in this grade

Big run on debut and then bolted in at Sale over 1700m, extra trip a bonus and looks highly promising, $2.50 is value in my eyes…

She was good at Flemington 1600m, steps out to 1800m and well weighted with Kennedy's claim, will run very well for sure

Hs won 3 from 7 and is a winner 1st up, looks perfectly placed this grade and well weighted, expecting a bold showing and the price looks fat!
