TRACK: SOFT 7 expecting HEAVY- RAIL: +3m
Metro racing returns to Rosehill on Saturday , with the Listed January Cup (2000m) headlining a 10-race program.
The rail moves out +3m the entire circuit for the meeting, and with significant rainfall forecast leading into the weekend, punters can expect a worsening Soft 7 circuit for race-day… we’re expecting a heavy 8.
The meeting consists of 10 races, with a total prize purse of $1.6M.
The feature race of the day is the $200k Asahi Super Dry January Cup (a quality race over 2,000 metres).

For a second straight Saturday, the thrilling world of metropolitan racing in Melbourne heads to the iconic Flemington Racecourse, where an exciting 10-race meeting is set down for decision.
Despite the fact that there are no black-type races featured on the program today, a number of key runners are poised to grace the historic track, all with their eyes on the Autumn Group races that are fast approaching on the horizon.
The meeting at Flemington in Victoria on Saturday January 18th 2025 consists of 10 races, with a total prize purse of $1.3M.
The feature race of the day is the $150k VRC Punters Club Sprint (a handicap race over 1,000 metres).

Rock hard fit and small field suits, very well in here with 53kg's , Record at this trip is excellent, looks a winner for mine.

Has won all 3 jumpouts impressively, draws 1, gets Shinn and stable have a very big opinion of this filly.

Bolted in this track 1400m last start, step up to the mile looks no issues, will lead or contol the tempo and be very hard to roll.

Was a very good effort 1st up at the Valley, Flemington and 1100m both look positives 2nd up, runs well here!

Just run down at the Valley but race rated well, likely to lead here and will take catching down the straight.

Was a useful effort at The Valley from a wide gate over the 1000m, will sonter up nicely here and looks well placed and great value at 10/1
