RACE 5: 3. Extremely Rowdy (7)
Trainer:P.Gelagotis - Jockey:T.L.Chapman - Weight: 59.5kg
Strong return run when closing well into second over 1200m at Pakenham first-up.
Strips fitter now and will relish any give in the ground.
Has shown ability in tougher company and the 3kg claim from Tianni Chapman helps.
Genuine top-three chance.

RACE 6: 14. My Zephyr (2)
Trainer:M.A.Shepherdson - Jockey:M.J.Dee - Weight: 54kg
Found the line well in a $1M race first-up at Flemington, finishing 7th but only 3 lengths off the winner.
Strips fitter now and drops in both class and weight.
Has been tackling stronger company and can improve sharply here.
Keep safe at odds.

RACE 7: 4. Shiny New Deel (NZ) (10)
Trainer:G.M.Bedggood - Jockey:L.J.Bates - Weight: 60kg
Consistent performer who keeps racing well in handy company.
Buried away turning in a messy race last start at Flemington, finishing a solid 4th over 2000m.
Prior to that, ran on strongly for 2nd at Sandown-Lakeside behind the same horse.
Gets in light with a claim and deserves serious thought.

RACE 8: 13. Oceans Above (NZ) (8)
Trainer:S.Zahra - Jockey:L.J.Bates - Weight: 59kg
Strong return performance when reeling them in to score first-up at Pakenham.
Steps up in grade here but has proven himself second-up in the past.
Expect him to be running on late, and with a large claim from Logan Bates, he has rough place claims.
WYONG
TRACK: GOOD4 - RAIL: +3m
Wyong hosts provincial racing on Wednesday evening, featuring an exciting eight-race card.
This rating should stay the same for race day. The first race starts at 4:05pm AEDT.

RACE 5: 5. Seven's (IRE) (5)
Trainer:Annabel Neasham & Rob Archibald - Jockey:J.B.McDonald Weight: 55kg
Racing well this prep and was just grabbed late last start at Warwick Farm over 2110m.
Steps up again here but looks primed third-up and has early tactical speed to find a good spot.
With fitness on his side, he’s the one they’ll have to run down.

RACE 6: 9. Agenda Setter (8)
Trainer:M. & W. & J.Hawkes - Jockey:T.Berry - Weight: 56.5kg
Knocking on the door after a strong second last start at Canterbury over 1250m.
Progressing well this prep and should be right in the finish again.
Expecting him to settle on speed and prove hard to get past late.
One of the key contenders.

RACE 7: 6. Scalextrics (9)
Trainer:M.C.Smith - Jockey:B.Nock - Weight: 57kg
Didn't fire fresh when 7th at Newcastle over 1300m but should improve second-up.
Likely to push forward early and take advantage of the weight claim from Braith Nock.
Faces a tougher field but with a softer run in transit, he could sneak into the placings.

RACE 8: 6. Miss Checkoni (1)
Trainer:N.Mitchell - Jockey:M.G.Bourke - Weight: 58.5kg
Battled fairly first-up when finishing 5th at Warwick Farm over 1200m on a slow track.
Second-up record isn't inspiring, having finished last in a similar event last prep.
Draws better this time, which should help, but needs to lift significantly to be competitive.
Each way play.
