RACE 5: 9. Tarvue (NZ) (6)
Trainer:J.D.Sadler - Jockey:H.T.Coffey - Weight: 58.5kg
Raced keenly but not disgraced last start at Flemington behind a smart type in Revelare over 2000m. Drops in class and trip, which should suit, and her Pakenham win two starts back was strong. Going well and should be prominent again—each-way chance.

RACE 6: 9. Zloties (10)
Trainer:G.M.Begg - Jockey:J.Childs - Weight: 60.5kg
Solid return at Sandown-Lakeside, chasing home a handy type first-up and finishing a close third. Second-up winner last prep at this track, and fitter now. Races well here and looks the one to beat.

RACE 7: 2. Typhoon Harmony (3)
Trainer:P.Gelagotis - Jockey:T.L.Chapman - Weight: 62.5kg
Too strong first-up, held his own in town second-up, and was only claimed late in Adelaide last weekend. Drops in class here, and his last-start third in BM82 grade was solid. Well placed and among the top chances.

RACE 8: 5. Aiming (1)
Trainer:C.Maher - Jockey:M.J.Dee - Weight: 59.5kg
Got back and never a chance second-up on the tight Lakeside track but should be fitter now and is drawn to settle closer this time. Third-up and looking for improvement, but needs to show more. Each way hope.

RACE 5: 3. Oakfield Prince (6)
Trainer:K.A.Lees - Jockey:A.Bullock - Weight: 59.5kg
Form hard to fault, finishing close-up in consecutive BM64 races at Newcastle, including a narrow fourth last start over 1500m. Racing consistently and getting closer to a win. Each-way claims in an open race.

RACE 6: 2. Prince Of Sorts (5)
Trainer:A.J.Kehoe - Jockey:O.S.Chambers - Weight: 60.5kg
Should improve sharply second-up, having finished four lengths back when resuming at Newcastle but now stepping up in trip. Placed second-up last prep and has proven form on softer ground. Rates highly—solid claims.

RACE 7: 2. Gogmagog (2)
Trainer:K.Gavenlock - Jockey:M.Fitzgerald - Weight: 59.5kg
Chasing a hat-trick after back-to-back narrow wins over 1000m, showing grit and determination to get the job done. Thriving at the track and in great form, so there’s no reason he can’t go on with it again—strong winning chance.

RACE 8: 10. Edge Of Midnight (5)
Trainer:P.Perry - Jockey:M.Fitzgerald - Weight: 55kg
Going well without winning, finishing close-up at Scone and Taree in BM58 company. Steps up in trip and benefits from a 2kg claim, which should help. Rates highly and has the ability to surprise—each-way contender.
